Book Review Index by Title and Genre

My categories are somewhat arbitrary, I’m afraid, but I think they do the job. The distinction between classics and modern literary fiction is particularly fine, and I have just gone with my gut. I may break down the larger categories if necessary later.

  1. I was noticing that in your section of books for children and young adults you don't include anything by Elizabeth Enright. So far I've only read four of her books for children - the Melendy family series - but they were really fun. I think my favorite is "The Four-Story Mistake". (Just that title bodes well in my humble opinion.) Anyway, you might check out her books at the library and see if some of your younger ones enjoy them. :-) Two of her other books won Newbery Medals.
